  • Imagining Possibilities!

    Funded Jan 31, 2025

The dramatic play materials available in the Pre-K classroom, including pretend food, doll care items, and the children's doctor kit, have greatly improved students' chances to engage with real-life roles and scenarios through imaginative play.

These resources enhance the growth of essential social skills by promoting collaboration, communication, and empathy among children. The inclusion of products like the Small World Toys Smile for the Camera set and the Pretend Play Toddler Tool Toy, which comes with a construction worker costume and electronic drill, enables children to act out various community helper roles, enriching their understanding of the surrounding world. Likewise, the Pretend Play Wooden Candy Set and the BPA-free cutting fruits and vegetables toy sets provide interactive experiences that assist in the development of both fine motor skills and teamwork.

Collectively, these resources have transformed the classroom into a dynamic learning environment where children thrive through role-play, creativity, and meaningful social interaction.”

Thank you so much for your love and support for my classroom. My students will use these math resources to engage in hands on math learning that will help them grow in math to get them ready for kindergarten next year. Thanks to you. My class has the math materials. They need to make math learning fun.”

  • Art Masterpieces!

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

With the help of our new resources and the generosity of our supporters, my students have been immersed in fascinating art projects. Students used paint dabblers and tissue paper squares to create their own renditions of well-known artworks while utilizing the Art Masterpieces kit. The collage frames have been a hit because they let the kids create colorful, textured images by combining wiggly eyes, peel-and-stick flexible shapes, and floral rhinestones. They were inspired to create scenes with distinctive characters and use the people-shaped templates to tell stories through art. Through this project, they were able to integrate art and storytelling while honing their fine motor abilities and expressing their creativity.

There was a lot of enthusiasm in the classroom when the materials came. Eager to put the materials to work, they began generating ideas right away. Their excitement was contagious, and the resources stimulated creative and cooperative work. In the future, we intend to work on a project that emphasizes family and community. Our art classes have been completely changed by these resources, and I'm excited to see what our classroom will produce next! I appreciate you making this happen!”

  • A Nurturing ELL Reading Corner

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

I wish you could have seen my students' faces when the two HUGE orange beanbag chairs arrived for our new Reading Corner! They were so excited and immediately got to work reorganizing our classroom to make space for them. They stacked the desks up and swept the floor in a perfect spot toward the back of the room. I added a rug before putting the beanbag chairs down and letting the students make the area their own. We also got a small shelf for the snacks and treats and talked about how the snacks will only be after completing one of the new books.

This donation has been the perfect start to our Reading Corner because the students were so honored to receive these gifts. They are now constantly talking about what other Spanish texts they or their peers would enjoy reading. Although my students are learning English, sparking their joy for reading, even in Spanish, is a huge accomplishment. I truly believe that if I can find what they are passionate about, I will have an easier time introducing them to things in the English language.

Thank you again for what you have provided to my students. We will continue to add to our library here in the classroom and reward students for continuing their English language journey!”

  • Mrs. Grovner's Second Grade Allstars

    Funded May 29, 2023

First of all, thank you for enabling our class to have its first project funded. We were in much need of the items that we requested. Your thoughtful donations made it all possible. We are so thankful that you thought of us and we are grateful that you reached out to help students whom you have never met.

Your donations for the headphones, seat pockets, and privacy shields have made a great impact on our classroom. Each of the students are able to focus because the headphones help keep distractions to a minimum. The students each have a set of headphones and they don't have to share them. No more racing to the bin to get headphones before they're all gone. The privacy shields were also a big help because now my students can focus on what they are doing. These privacy shields also help to make sure that the data I am collecting is valid. The students can only see their own work during assessments. The seat covers help keep the student's desk tidy and adds bright colors to our room. Thanks again for your donations. We hope you will help us with our future projects.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Grovner

  • Classroom Independence

    Funded Oct 12, 2022

Thank you so much for helping my Kindergarten kiddos gain independence and organizational skills. These are two skills that will help them throughout their school career and also in their home life. These bins and folders have helped our classroom so much!

The bins go in the students cubby to put their work notebooks in. The are able to grab a bin with multiple notebooks and bring it back to their seat easily. It has created a nice and neat way to keep their notebooks stored and readily available for access.

The folders have made it easy to complete readings with, the students sheets are easily accessed and kept nice and neat. The items have truly enhanced the learning in our classroom. We can't thank you enough!!”

  • Aggies Can Think, Build & Grow

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The students will enjoy the materials in the library centers this year. We haven't been able to use them the past two years due to covid and not being in "Normal" mode. This year things are back to normal and we will start library centers very soon. There are many students at our school that love to build things out of paper or anything they can find. I know they will enjoy these kits to explore and build different things. Thank you again for helping to provide these materials for my students!”

  • Power Up

    Funded Feb 14, 2021

Thank you all so much for your donations. Having the charging station has been AWSOME! To have a charging station and to now charge all computers at once makes every school day go smoothly. With having all computers charged at one time it has improved chromebook time in class.

After the first month with the charging station, it has helped tremendously because students can go and put their computer up at the end of the day and charge it. That way when students return back to school the next day their computer is charged up and ready to go for the day. By having all computers charged and ready to go helps in bettering the students education on school programs on the computer.

We really appreciate your donations and support on our project Power Up!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Blackman
