Getting Back to the Basics!
Funded Mar 8, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity in giving my students the basic supplies we use each and every day! I can't express what it means to know that these things are readily available for my students! I'm especially excited about the anti-viral Kleenex in hopes that they aid during cold/flu season! Thanks again!”

Mrs. Bickers

Funded Dec 7, 2023WOW! How amazing it has been to see my students' creativity blossom! We have used our new Silhouette machine to create so many fun, exciting things! We have been able to really soar into STEM and help to create labels for our PBLs as well personalize our classroom supplies!
At first, we were all a little intimidated with the machine and all of the additional supplies, but as I practiced more and more, we have been able to take everyday, mundane-ness to the next level!
I can't tell you what your support means and how excited I am to continue to see the difference this makes in our classroom for years to come.
Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bickers
A Generation of Geniuses!
Funded Nov 26, 2019I cannot thank you each enough for your generous donation toward this project! Generation Genius allows my students to go beyond the curriculum and engage in videos and demonstrations that are interesting to them! Generation Genius shows my students real-world science applications and breaks down the concepts we are learning in class so that they are easier to understand.
Once students are finished watching the videos, they are able to take Kahoot! quizzes on what they watched. My students have loved being able to become competitive against their classmates and go head-to-head answering scientific questions!
I have truly loved getting to watch my students have lightbulb moments thanks to the use of Generation Genius, made possible by your kind donations. Thanks again!”

Funded Apr 20, 2019Wow! I can't tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you! This project has made learning, science learning especially, so much more fun! My students are able to go inside the human body, take a rocket into outer space, visit museums, and much, much more!
Unfortunately, my students do not have access to many different types of technology outside of school and through your generous donations, you are providing that access to them!
One of my students in particular comes in the room every morning just to ask if he can use the Merge cubes and iPad. I know that this opportunity encourages him to come to school and learn even more!
Thanks again!”

Funded Jan 2, 2019Wow, this project has brought out so much compassion in my students! I have seen them grow and care in ways that I had never seen before. On a daily basis, they are inquiring about the number of RUTF packets we have earned thus far!
Every Tuesday and Friday, we sync our Kid Power Bands, and our steps turn into points, which then turn into real-time food packets for kids in need. My students are learning about the global world around them, and how to positively impact their worlds.
My students are being active, learning about diversity, and helping others all at one time. I can't imagine a better project for us all.
Thank you so much for supporting my students and our endeavors!”

Funded Oct 2, 2018Thank you so much for contributing to such an essential project for my students! Our new math fluency kit is helping us build number sense, practice our math skills, and become faster at mathematical operations.
My students very rarely get NEW items and so it is always so fun to see their looks of excitement when they first get to experience them! It's like a holiday every time!
Moving forward in their classrooms and careers, I know my students will be able to use the skills that you have provided to them through our new math fluency kit.
Thank you again!”

Funded Sep 6, 2018Wow! I cannot say thank you enough for your generosity in supporting and fostering a love for learning! Our Panther Book Club is already off to a great start, and you would not believe the impact these new novels have already had on our students!
Many of our students have never seen, let alone hold a BRAND new book. However, thanks to you, this has become a reality for them. It is amazing to see the pride and care they demonstrate with the their individual copies.
Through this text, our students have been able to create their own beasts, engage in such rich discussions about the beasts (I wish you could hear them!), and learn new vocabulary.
Once again, thank you for making sure that our readers become our leaders.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bickers
Put On Your Thinking Cap!
Funded Feb 21, 2018I can't thank you enough for your generosity!! We have only completed the first week of three weeks of testing, but I can already tell you how much these thinking caps have impacted our students!
I have loved seeing the smiling faces of the students in my school wearing their thinking caps! I know that being able to decorate and wear their caps has given them a major confidence boost during stressful testing times. You should have seen their eyes light up when they were delivered to each classroom!
In the coming weeks, I can't wait to see our students continue to wear their caps and continue to work hard on such a trying task! With your help, this dream came true and I cannot thank you enough!”

Mrs. Bickers
Picture This! A Tolerance Project
Funded Sep 18, 2017Wow! My students are so excited to have gotten our project funded! Just last week, we started using the Instax camera, film, and accessories to capture the excitement that occurs in our classroom daily.
Through this project, we are able to display our classroom all-stars and our special projects by instantly taking a photo, it printing immediately, and us posting for the entire school to see! This inspires us to try harder in our work and further develop our learning!
I think the most exciting part of the product is that my students are able to have the individuality to add decorations to the photos we take.
Thanks for making this dream come true for my kiddos!”

Funded Dec 20, 2016Wow! I can't begin to explain the gratitude I feel toward each of you! Having these 10 new Chromebooks readily at our fingertips has made such a difference! My students are now able to implement intervention programs such as: iStation, iReady, and Achieve3000, as they were designed. These programs help my students work toward their expected, fifth-grade levels in both reading and math. We are gearing up to create and implement research projects on topics of interest to the kiddos! (They are so excited!)
In my class, we use GradeCam to check our work and our tests. Since each Chromebook has a camera, students are able to grade their own work and fix their mistakes as needed. This allows them an opportunity to try again once more, and to get the best grade possible. My students are overjoyed that they no longer have to stand in line for me to check their work and that time will be better spent.
It sounds kind of silly, but I've told the students over and over again that the new Chromebooks are our babies and we have to treat them delicately. They carry them so carefully and make sure they are back in their packaging before returning them. I am amazed at how much they care about having brand new technology. Yetli and John have named themselves the "laptop police" and ticket students who aren't doing what is expected.
Once again, thank you so much for helping my students get what they need in order for them to be the best learners they can be.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bickers
