• Easel Easy

  Thank you so much for your help in funding my project. Teaching with an easel in the classroom is essential- especially in a K-2 classroom. Having an easel that is useful and big enough that I can create a safe meeting area is really important.

  The easel I received allows me to teach, store materials, and display teaching materials for my students to see and access with ease. It also has a story board on one side where students can create with felt.

• We All Belong

  Thank you so much for your help in funding my project. The materials I received are colorful and fun and the perfect size for my 5 and 6 year old students. I was able to use the materials to make my learning space more inviting for my students.

  I wanted to create an environment that was similar to my colleagues who have taught Kindergarten for many years. Flexible seating options help with behavior management and allow students options for working areas.

• Tables and Chairs!

  Thank you so much for your help in funding my tables and chairs project. The tables are colorful and fun and the perfect size for my 5 and 6 year old students. They love sitting and collaborating at the activity tables and I get compliments all of the time.

  I felt that the desks and chairs I had in my first grade classroom were just sightly too big for the Kindergarten students and wanted to create an environment that was similar to my colleagues who have taught Kindergarten for many years.

• Basic Supplies

  Thank you so much for the supplies that your donation helped me purchase for my classroom. I spend a lot of time copying charts, laminating them, and then have to struggle to erase the dry erase markers from the laminated charts that students use. With the charts that I purchased for the first grade team, we will be able to use the charts for math year after year without the need to recreate them. My students and colleagues were thrilled to receive these awesome materials.

  In addition, I have been able to continue purchasing resources through Teachers Pay Teachers with the generous gift card donation.”

• Interactive Whiteboard

  Thank you so much for your donation which helped me purchase a wireless Interactive Whiteboard for my classroom. We have limited technology at my school and this tool has helped make my lessons more fun and engaging for the students.

  They can walk up to our whiteboard and use it like an interactive board even though we do not have one in our class. There is a special pen that they use and they love being picked to go up to the board and answer a question. It's also a great tool that encourages participation.”

  Thank you so very much for your kind donation! The TPT gift card has allowed me to purchase several resources from other educators to make my own and use in my classroom. Most of the teachers I follow create diverse and inclusive activities which is important to me to incorporate into my lessons.

  I will continue to utilize the gift card to launch this new school year as well and I truly appreciate your continued support to my classroom projects. This is the kind of project that students may not appreciate as much as I did since they don't realize or think about how teachers come up with interesting lessons and materials.”

• Hand 2 Mind

  I am thrilled to have received these essential materials for developing fluency in mathematics. Unfortunately due to Covid 19 restrictions and the way my classroom is set up, I haven't been able to utilize this resource yet.

  I will set it up and use it from the start of the next school year. It has been challenging to provide students with manipulatives that they can use in class because of sharing. Fluency of addition and subtraction facts is one of the major strands in first grade math and this is the perfect tool to help my students visualize their learning.

• First Grade Readers!

  I cannot believe how the months have gone by and I haven't been able to thank you for the wonderful series and books that are in my classroom. It was challenging to determine how I could use physical books this year with Covid-19 restrictions. We haven't utilized the classroom library to the same extent that we would in "normal" school years.

  However, on days when I have been able to encourage the students to browse for books- I love watching their eyes light up when they see the Geronimo Stilton series, Dogman, The Lunch Lady series, and more.

  We have been reading predominantly on apps and the iPad so that books are not shared, but as any avid reader knows, the screen cannot replace the joy of reading a book cover to cover. Thank you so much!”

• FLEX My Classroom

  Thank you so much for once again supporting my classroom and helping me get resources for my students to use on a daily basis. I have three classes and they rush in every day to get the wobble chairs and the comfy seats on the new beautiful rug! They love coming to my classroom because they have choices for where they seat while working.

  When the students first came in and saw the materials, they were so excited! They said "Wow, these chairs are so nice! Where did you get the rug, it's the color of the ocean?" I loved seeing how just seeing these new chairs motivated them. It really makes them proud of the learning environment that they are in.

  The chairs and the rug also provides the students with a sense of responsibility. They need to share the resources and take care of them. They are mindful of who sits in them and make sure to include others and take turns without me needing to remind them or create a schedule (as of yet...). I will definitely create future projects to increase the amount of flexible seating available to my students.”
