• Headphones for All!

  Funded Jan 30, 2025

  Thank you for your donations to our classroom. My students are absolutely thrilled to be able to start using the new headphones during classroom activities. They were very excited when the boxes arrived and we've only begun to explore the opportunities. I can't tell you enough about how much these materials will benefit my students and their daily needs. It is donors like you that make it possible for me to provide my students with the materials they need to be successful in the classroom.

  I've already noticed a distinct change in the behavior of my students now that we have access to these working headphones. The classroom is definitely more relaxed, peaceful even, and my student's general anxiety has definitely gone down. Students are able to focus on their work for longer periods of time and the number of times we've seen students get cranky due to broken headphones has diminished! • Exercise Equipment for Sensory Needs

  Thank you for your donations to our classroom. My students are absolutely thrilled to be able to start using the new under desk pedals this year. They were very excited when the boxes arrived and we've only begun to explore the possibilities with these new materials. I can't tell you enough about how much these materials will benefit my students and their daily sensory needs.

I've already noticed a distinct change in the behavior of my students now that we've started using the equipment. • Snacks for Success 6.0

  Thank you for your donations to our classroom. My students are absolutely thrilled to be able to start eating these nutritious snacks at breakfast and afternoon snack time if they need it. They were very excited when the boxes arrived and we've only begun to explore the variety of snack options. I can't tell you enough about how much these materials will benefit my students and their daily needs. It is donors like you that make it possible for me to provide my students with the materials they need to be successful in the classroom.

  I've already noticed a distinct change in the behavior of my students now that we've started offering these healthy snacks during breakfast and snack times. The classroom is definitely more relaxed, peaceful even, and my student's general anxiety has definitely gone down. Many of these students simply can't afford these snacks on their own, so having access to them is a real treat for them! They're able to focus on their work for longer periods of time and the number of times we've seen students get cranky due to hunger has decreased dramatically! Thanks again for all of your support!”

Many of my students are reluctant readers, and these high interest books are so helpful in getting them actively engaged and interested in what they're reading.

• Digital Life Skills 3.0

  Thank you for your donations to our classroom. My students will be absolutely thrilled to be able to start using the new online learning activities this year. I am able to use these activities in a variety of ways, including during our small group lessons, independent work time, as well as during targeted practice related to their IEP goals. Many of my students struggle with basic reading, writing and math skills, and these activities are so helpful in getting them actively engaged and interested in what they're learning, especially while we dealt with distance learning this year.
