• An Organized Class is a Happy Class

  I am so happy to be back in the classroom and the start of a new school year. The classroom is much more functional with books and supplies organized and readily accessible. I love not having to search for center activities, STEAM bins and all the other materials. The students are able to access and use materials easily and efficiently throughout the day. I am grateful for the donations to this class project and the ability to keep materials and supplies organized and well stocked for future use. • Teacher Tech Needed for Improved Distance Teaching!

• Books, Books, Books! Help Fill the Classroom Library.

  I can not begin to express how thankful I am for your generous donation. My class loves to listen to books being read aloud in class. The titles included in this project are meaningful because they have different themes of building character. While reading these books we can look forward to many conversations about kindness, respect, friendships, teamwork, accountability and so much more. These conversations will help build a strong community of learners both in and out of the classroom. These books will not only be used for this class but for many classes to come. • Tables and Stools for Small Group Learning!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. With more tables in our classroom, students are able to spread out in smaller groups and work and problem solve together. The smaller size of the tables work perfect with our stools and provide a nice change from the tables that they work at for most of the day. The taller chairs help at our taller desks and allow for a higher seat for sharing work and writing with the class. Again, thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom.”

• Lego's for Writing!

  My students are having so much fun building and creating their stories using Lego's. Ideas are much easier to come up with when they can "set the scene" in real life before beginning to write on paper. Seeing the actual character in their story helps to describe their character on paper. Stories are coming to life with the help of these Lego's and we are so grateful to also the generous supporters. These Lego's will remain a valuable part of our writing program for years to come. Thank you for your generosity in funding this project. I can't wait to share their published stories.”

• Creating a "Place of Potential!"

  We are so excited to have our "Place of Potential" items in our classroom. People who pass by love the feel of our room. Our classroom is an exciting, inviting place to learn and we could not have accomplished the feel in our room without the generous support of this project. The class works hard everyday in what is now a comfortable classroom for learning. The seating options and tables provide creative, flexible spaces for everyone to learn and be successful. This classroom truly is a place of potential and I am happy that my students have the opportunity to work and learn in such a creative space. Thank you again for all your generous donations.”

• Flexible Seating and STEAM Replacement Materials Needed!

  We are so excited to have our project funded. We quickly received the materials in our classroom and put them right to use. My students love sitting in the comfy new seats. The Lego set adds to our growing collection and allows more students the opportunity to build and create projects. The floor seating allows my students to sit on the floor but keep their devices off the floor and at a place where it is easy for them to work. And, the bonus of the seating is that they can be easily moved around the room and stored. We are so happy for all our new additions to our classroom learning environment. • Dash and Dot Needed for Coding!

  Funded Dec 23, 2016

  Wow! Thank you so much for your generous donations to bring Dash and Dot to my classroom. My class of second graders love robotics. All the students are learning how to Code through various different ways and the Dash and Dot robots add another way for them to learn coding. The addition of the xylophone for Dash brings a musical component to coding. Learning to string the notes together on the iPad and have it interact with Dash truly brings their knowledge of coding to life. Thank you again for your generous donation and know that it will be used by many students.”
