  • Safety Kit Upgrade

    Funded Jan 30, 2025

Thank you for your generous gift to our learners. Upgrading their safety kits is an important piece in providing a learning environment that better meets their needs for physical and emotional safety. While we hope to never have an emergency that makes these window covers necessary, we will be thankful to have them.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Norris

  • Holiday Fun 2024

    Funded Dec 9, 2024

Thank you so much for helping spread holiday cheer. Your gift will help us with headphones for learning and STEM activities that will connect learning at school with activities and experiences at home. I know the kids are going to really love this surprise. I am truly thankful for your generosity and dedication to helping our children gain important educational experiences.”

  • Myth Busters: Using Basic Supplies to Make STEM Magic Happen

    Funded May 11, 2024

Making slime was such a fantastic experience for our learners! They had so much fun experimenting with recipes and mixing up their own slime. It was a great way to release stress, inspire curiosity, and build memories in our classroom. The folders and other supplies helped us end the year with needed materials, as well as prepare for starting a new year on the right foot. Your generosity made an impact for our learners in two different years. What a gift! Thank you for helping our learners end a year with great memories, and start a new year with the confidence that comes from knowing everything they need is on hand.”

  • Basic Supplies to Start the New Year

    Funded May 13, 2024

Thank you so much for the pencil pouches, pencils, composition notebooks, and other basic supplies you brought to our classroom. My learners have had a fantastic start to their year. A time that can be a source of anxiety for some was made easier without the worry of having or not having the right supplies on hand. Parents were able to focus on other things to get their children started on a new year. It is such a help to know that others are there to lend a hand when our learners have a need. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Norris

  • We Are Clockmakers

    Funded Nov 14, 2024

I really can't thank you enough for making this STEM learning experience possible for my students. With three classes, I was concerned we would not get a chance to make clocks this year. I was hoping to post a project and get it funded within the next month or so, then you came along and made it happen in no time at all. My students are going to be so excited when I tell them the good news. Thank you, again, for bringing dreams to reality for our class.”

  • We Need STEM Bins

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

Thank you for supporting my learners in their work. These materials will be used for a 'soft start' at the beginning of the day, during our instructional time throughout the school day, and even after school as we prepare for the regional science olympiad. Knowing you care means a lot to our students. Your investment in their future will make an impact in their lives, today and in the future. Thank you!”

  • Watch Us Glow!

    Funded Apr 11, 2024

Thank you for helping our learners have a fantastic glow party. We were able to rotate activities in our classrooms to make learning extra fun for everyone. We felt the 'glow' as we learned new strategies and reviewed previously learned material. The black lights, finger lights, and decorations were amazing and made this a truly memorable event. In addition, we were able to use the black light for other events in our school. We are looking forward to having these materials to use for future activities and celebrations. Your gift made a real difference in our learning environment. Thank you!”

  • Learning Compassion Through Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

    Funded Oct 6, 2024

Thank you for helping our learners build their social-emotional skills through PBIS. Learning compassion is an important part of life in school and beyond.

The social-emotional skills our children learn today will help them build a stronger community in the future. These PBIS resources, challenges, and incentives will support our instruction as learners add to their social-emotional toolboxes.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Norris

  • Compassionate Readers Make the World a Better Place

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you so much for creating this additional opportunity for our learners. In today's world, there is a great need for kindness, empathy, and compassion. For children, it is crucial that we are able to match their resources with their needs. Your gift is bringing important books to our classrooms that will help our students learn how to identify the emotions and needs of others. The Accelerated Reader subscription will help us match literature to each individual learner's reading level and social-emotional learning needs. Thank you, again, for helping our learners become tomorrow's leaders. They are on a mission to make the world a better place, and your support helped them with the start of their journey!”

  • Snacks for Testing Week

    Funded Apr 11, 2024

Thank you for the delicious snacks for my students. Each child had a special snack treat each day during testing week. They loved the goldfish crackers, and the animal crackers were a huge success. I wish you could have heard the students discussing the shapes of their cookies, guessing the animals, and using their imaginations to create stories about them. The following week, many of them were choosing books about the animals they saw represented in their snack foods.

Your donation brought a fun experience to our classroom during our testing week. Testing can be stressful and mentally exhausting for children. Your gift brightened their days.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Norris

My students are unique individuals with different interests, talents, and cultural influences. Because many of my students come from military families, I have students from all over the nation. I also have students from other countries, English language learners, students with special needs, and students coming from high poverty areas. Some students need extra help; others need extension lessons to provide a greater challenge. Regardless of their differences, they are all part of our wonderfully diverse classroom community. All of my students love finding new, creative ways to demonstrate their knowledge and express their ideas. These children never cease to amaze me with their creativity and excitement for learning. My goal is to get the resources needed to make their learning experiences more meaningful and completely unforgettable. Why? Because they deserve it!
