Thank you so much for donating to our Middle School CPR Program! Our 7th grade students were so excited to see the supplies when we unveiled them this month. They could not believe that in 7th grade they were going to be trained in CPR. They had great questions related to the science behind CPR and were fascinated as the manikins provided feedback regarding the rate and depth of their compressions.
Students are going to be starting their rotations through the CPR Training Program as they enter their Anatomy Trimester in their science class. By the end of this school year all of our 7th grade students will be trained in hands only CPR utilizing a curriculum designed just for middle schoolers. They will be more confident in how to respond to an emergency and empowered with this life saving skill.
Thank you for your role in making this happen. Provident students, staff, and families - THANK YOU!”

Mrs. Mueller

Imagine having hundreds of dollars worth of equipment and having no good way to keep it safe. Such was our problem when we received the donations of a GoPro with attachments, a Samsung Tablet, a camcorder, etc. This was something which needed to be rectified as quickly as possible.
Thanks to your generosity we are no able to protect these gifts from many an accident. Every item has its place and each is safer now than it was before this donation. I hope this bag will remain sturdy for many years to come and continue to protect its contents.
With your generous donations, my students now have the abilities to focus their energy on any task I give them. Students are able to pedal under their desks while working on collaborative tasks, assessments, or projects. In the afternoons after lunch, some of my students have a lot of energy and were not able to sit still. By allowing students to pedal while working, they are able to complete their assignments in a calm manner and not distract others in the classroom.
When the packages were delivered, my students were ecstatic. They could not wait to open the boxes and set up all of the pedals! I had to make a sign up sheet because all of my students in each class wanted to use the pedals while they worked. They even wanted to take the pedals with them to other classes.
Students reflected on how they felt before and after they used the pedals while they worked, and were able to see how important it was to learn how to focus their energy. They are developing self confidence and self control which will help them way beyond my classroom. Thank you so much for encouraging and inspiring my students to live up to their full potential.”

Thank you so much for your donation. The money you donated helped to buy several chairs for my classroom. The kids absolutely love choosing where to sit which helps them be the best learner. I absolutely love that they have choices. It is also amazing that many of the chairs help some kids focus better. The ball chairs have them concentrating on their core to stay balanced and that sometimes keeps them more focused. It is so awesome to hear kids and parents walk by my room and comment on the flexible seating and how great it is. As you probably know, kids are pretty tough on furniture. I am continually replacing chairs that are losing their stuffing or are no longer usable. This is all possible due to your generous and thoughtful donation.
The most exciting thing happened that could ever happened when students receive donated items: THEY WERE THANKFUL! It can be a mature growth for students and children to be thankful of items that came from "strangers", but in this instance my students took right to the concept of donorschoose.org.
I informed my class that they all have noise reduction headphones made available to them through kind donors who support our music program. Instantly they asked if they could grab a pair for class use. It amazed me because I've had students in the past worry about the stigmatic "look" of wearing headphones, and choose not to use them. But when one student chose to go for them, it influenced others to follow in a positive way.
Because they put them to good use, they realize the practice benefit of using them for music. It allows the students to focus on their own accuracy of the rhythms and drumming technique, as opposed to complain that it is loud and draining on their ears. When their focus is on noise, they begin to give up caring on the music. Since the use of our gift, students have sounded better because of less distractions and play with confidence. As a bonus, I get to play the cowbell and blow the whistle as loud as I want, guilt free!
The headphones have come in handy in gym assemblies as well, for students who find it over stimulating with the noise of school cheers and whatnot. This allows me to provide for students outside of my drumming classes.
Thank you for helping me fund my very first project for my school.”

Your generous funding of my class project afforded my students the opportunity to accurately track their movement during physical education.
We have started Incorporating the pedometers into our daily classes and I think it provides the students with a greater sense of purpose to fully participate. They love seeing how many steps they get doing
various activities. The students are able to use the data to set realistic fitness goals for themselves. We are working on several projects this school year that the students can use their pedometers with.
Thank you for providing them with this opportunity.”

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My 1st graders were so excited when a new box of books arrived. They couldn't wait to see and read the books that were inside.
These books go along with the lessons that I teach them about respect, empathy, fairness, kindness, self-control, giving back, responsibility, conflict resolution, and leadership. The books support these lessons and help them verbalize their thoughts and feelings.
Your support of this project has helped my students to become better equipped to deal with their emotions, which in turn, will create healthy adults who can change our world for the better. Thank you again for your generous donations!”

I honestly can't thank you enough for your donation to our classroom carpet. The day I got the email stating that my project had been fully funded, I literally cried with happiness.
Not only does this carpet brighten up our room, it brings us closer as a classroom family. We can now sit together for stories, lessons and sharing of thoughts and ideas.
I wish I could of captured the pure joy and excitement my students expressed when they came to school and saw the carpet for the first time. There were "oo's " and "ahhh's", screams and squeals.
We love this carpet!”

Thank you so much for finding our project. You have given a large group of students the opportunity to grow emotionally. You have also afforded them an outlet that is a healthy way to explore their feelings and emotions. We look forward to implememtng this program for our students. We are eternally grateful!”
Our class absolutely loves participating in Go Noodle brain breaks! After we've been sitting for a while, need to energize or calm down, or have earned an extra reward, we get to choose between a variety of GoNoodle activities.
When we need to get out energy and move our bodies, the students love the Zumba and Kidzop guided dances. These simple dances are easy for the students to follow along with and use many of the popular songs the students hear at home and on the radio.
If it's time to settle down and get focused, the kids love following along with the guided yoga and breathing exercises.
Having GoNoodle in our class has been a wonderful experience. We thank you so much for helping to give us this yearly subscription to such a great program.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Felcher
