• True Crime for Reluctant Readers

• Don't Leave Us on a Cliffhanger!

  Thank you so much for helping us to fill in our science fiction section! This is one of the most popular sections in the library and therefore they get some of the most check outs. This leads to books being loved a little too hard at times and need to be replaced. Sometimes books don't come back!

  Your contribution has helped us to complete many series--allowing our students not to be left on a cliff hanger!! Thank you so much for your generous donation that will allow students to check out books that will engage them and excite them.

• Diverse Lit Creates Upstanders

  Thank you so much for contributing to our donor's choose surrounding uplifting diverse voices. Our school is dedicated to diversifying our literature in the English classrooms as well as in the school library collections. We want to provide our students with voices that are the same as theirs so they can see themselves in literature, as well as read voices that differ from their own. It is important to give students access to diverse perspectives so we can learn and grow from one another. The more we listen to each other, the more we can understand each other and work on building a global community.

  We want our students to be global citizens; reading diverse literature such as the novels your donations provided is a huge step in that direction.
