My Project

The Jumping Spider project will provide students in our special education classroom with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

Students will engage in experiential and inquiry-based learning by observing spider behaviors, asking questions, making predictions, and discovering how living things interact with their environment.

These interactive small group activities will encourage curiosity, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students will also practice real-world skills, including following directions, making choices, and taking responsibility. Jumping spider activities will be adapted to individual learning needs, creating an engaging, student-centered experience that makes learning accessible, meaningful, and fun.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
