Our district’s teachers know our students’ unique needs better than anyone! About South Glens Falls Central School District

South Glens Falls Central School District embraces the best of both worlds—all the advantages of a large school district with a small community feel.

Our district is made up of four neighborhood K-5 elementary schools, one middle school and one high school, and we serve approximately 3,000 students who primarily live in a suburban/rural setting.

Through collective partnerships the district is focused on developing self-motivated, confident, and competent citizens, capable of making life decisions that reflect responsibility and a respectful appreciation of a heritage rich in cultural diversity and supportive of individual and collective opportunities for achievement.

A professional staff of more than 500 provides a high level of instruction that is creative, challenging and responsive to student needs with a focus on future-ready learning and mental health. We have been a member of the League of Innovative Schools since fall 2019.

Our focus is always to level the playing field for all of our students, who come from a variety of different backgrounds.
