First the Multiplying Fractions Hand-on Pack was a huge success. The students were able to see how multiplication and fractions work because of the design of the product as it has transparencies. The students are able to see the part that cross and how it becomes the answer. Most beneficial with an inclusion class.\r\n\r\nSecond was the Pentominoes. The students thought these were amazing. Teaching area and parimeter will be some much easier as this also provides and excellent visual of taking up space. I actually started my Quest students on area using the Working with Pentominoes book.
