My students were so excited to see all of the new items that were purchased for our classroom. They yelled out with excitement and clapped when I showed them each item. Our new pencil sharpener has been put to good use. We use it daily so that the students are ready to begin their day with sharpened pencils. First the students begin their morning work and then we move on to our math centers. The students love having an extra box of pencils ready to go if their pencil happens to break. They have been completing place value math activities with our new pencils. They love to draw out quick tens and ones. We use our black sharpies for sight words so the students can practice their words in school and at home. Our new mailbox is very useful. Students are able to use it daily for our language arts center work. Thank you so much for making a difference and helping to support my grade one classroom.
