I'm forever grateful because I remember being in my students' shoes and having that feeling of being lost in a book - feeling capable of reading and getting lost in the words. I'm anxious for my kiddos to feel the same. Although it's the end of the school year, my students are already exploring the books wondering what each one is about.\r\n\r\nNext school year, I will be working with a bigger variety of diverse learners so these leveled book sets will be an AMAZING asset for them. My hope is to get even my new kindergarten kiddos engaged in books by the end of the '25/'26 school year. I also plan to laminate different colors of construction paper and put my students' names on paper clips that will be clipped to the construction paper with all the different reading levels so students are able to be more engaged in their education, no matter how young they are.\r\n\r\nIt's going to be an amazing feeling to have a classroom library that young future readers can appreciate.","fullyFundedDate":1746786289707,"projectUrl":"project/twice-the-results-for-half-the-effort/9116602/","projectTitle":"Twice the Results for Half the Effort!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bland","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9925462"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_70964","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":311,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":83,"percentWhite":10,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"3 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"17.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.6,"schoolId":70964,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pleasantview Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pleasantview Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/eastpointe-community-schools/pleasantview-elementary-school/70964"}
