Students use clipboards and whiteboards daily for problem-solving, quick checks for understanding, and collaborative discussions. The chair bands and flexible seating options, including floor pillows, have helped students stay focused and comfortable during lessons, especially during independent work and small-group instruction.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new materials, they were genuinely excited. Many were eager to try the whiteboards and clipboards right away, and several students gravitated toward the flexible seating options during reading and reflection time. The books were also a big hit; students were immediately drawn to the new titles and excited to add them to our classroom library. The storage bins and shelves helped students see that the classroom was thoughtfully organized for their needs.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our next steps include expanding movement-friendly learning, increasing student choice in how and where they work, and integrating more collaborative activities. These resources allow students to take ownership of their learning while supporting focus, comfort, and engagement. The gardening supplies you provided are being used as part of a plant growth and ecosystems project that allows students to learn by doing. Students are planting seeds, preparing soil, labeling their plants, and monitoring growth over time. These materials have transformed abstract science concepts into real-world experiences, allowing students to observe how living things grow and respond to their environment.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the supplies, they were excited and eager to get started. Many were especially curious about the soil and seed-starting pots and asked thoughtful questions about what plants need to survive. Planting their own seeds created a strong sense of responsibility, and students quickly took ownership of caring for their plants. Seeing their labels on the pots made the project feel personal and meaningful.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our next steps include tracking plant growth, collecting data, and connecting our observations to lessons on ecosystems, life cycles, and environmental stewardship. The shoe organizer has been repurposed as a classroom storage system, allowing us to store and distribute supplies efficiently while keeping our space clutter-free.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new materials, they were excited by how organized and functional the classroom felt. The headphones were especially impactful; students immediately recognized how helpful they would be for independent work, assessments, and small-group rotations. Students love sitting on the rug to complete their classwork and work with other students. The Takis, Pringles and pencils have been a huge help with keeping students on task. Through out the class period students can earn RISE tickets for staying on task, completing work, or working well with others if they earn enough tickets they can then turn them in for a snack/reward. The pencils went into my RISE box and students can purchase the pencil with their RISE tickets as well. The hyenine items have been very useful, students come to me for pads, band aids, deodorant or hair elastics when needed. I am so thankful I can offer these items to my students when they need them.
