It has been several weeks since we received the books you all so kindly helped us to get and I wanted to share a little bit about how this has impacted our class for the better. \r\n\r\nSome of the titles donated to us included Creepy Carrots series, Dork Diaries series, I Survived series, Babysitter's Club graphic novels, the Raina Telgemeier box set, The Last Kids on Earth series, and the Gustavo series. Having these titles in our class library has not only given students the opportunity to read titles that are engaging and interesting to them, but also exposed them to a variety of genres and themes. Our library is now bursting with CHOICES! Choice is a powerful force in any young readers journey. Choice has given my student's the opportunity to explore genres and authors that are interesting to them.
