The materials bought were for numerous activities throughout the school year thus far. We have been loving the headphones with microphones for our Latin fluency checks and practice. They've also been great for in class project days where students just want to listen to music as they work diligently on their assignments. The whiteboards have been utilized in random jeopardy-esque games to check for comprehension. The paper bought was used in making their ABC animal projects, which the kids had so much fun making. The pop sockets were a hit, especially for students who just needed to do something with their hands while listening. \r\nWhen the boxes started coming in, the students who work in the office and deliver the boxes also happen to be my Latin students, and they always waited for me to open those boxes in front of them. My Latin II students were excited to see all the supplies, and were dying to know what kind of projects they would be doing this year to utilize them all since they know how much I love giving them the chance to be creative. \r\nHonestly, one of the best things donated were the folders. These folders have played a crucial role in keeping all their work and notebooks together. We have a wonderful classroom routine in which students know to go to the back bins and grab their labeled folders and start working on their bell ringer. As the Latin I class learns more Latin and mythology, we will be utilizing these supplies for our gods project, our magnetic strips for our declining practice. \r\nWe are truly so grateful for your help. There are so many things we as teachers would love to do with our students, and with the help of wonderful people like you, we are able to bring these ideas into fruition. \r\nA HUGE thank you to Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation for your super generous donation for this project.
