  • Sensory Path: Helping Students One Hop at a Time

    Funded May 6, 2020

Thank you for providing this sensory path for our students. With the time of COVID, it means that students do not get to get up and move as much as they would in the past school setting. This sensory path helps students gain more movement throughout the day, while being able to social distance and stay safe. We are always so humbled by donors providing for our students and this project is no different. You know that our students need supplies and you are always willing to provide....thank you for that! We truly appreciate all you do for our school!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Joseph

  • Cleaning Supplies Organized

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

Thank you so much for providing this cabinet for our cleaning supplies. With COVID comes wipes, masks, paper towels, cleaning spray, and so much more. These are supplies that should not be within reach of students. With this locking cabinet, we are able to store these supplies in a safe place out of reach of those little hands. It is important to have these cleaning supplies but not at the expensive of a students safety. We know how curious students are so this locking cabinet prevents them from acting on their curiosity. We appreciate you providing this for us! Thank you!!”

  • Plastic Chairs for Easy Sanitizing

    Funded Sep 30, 2020

Thank you so much for providing these chairs for our students! In the time of COVID, it is nice to have plastic chairs that are easy to sanitize and can be cleaned quickly. Nowadays we need to make sure that students have a clean place to sit and these chairs hep with this. I am always so humbled by those donors who give to our class and school. You are very appreciated, especially in a time like now, where teachers need materials such as these more than ever. Thank you for helping support our class and our safety!”

  • Kindergarten Crayons Do Not Quit!

    Funded Jul 28, 2018

These books were the first, welcoming experience to our classroom community. They were so excited to get beautiful hardcover books to begin their kindergarten journey. Families were grateful to see how the community is also happy for our youngest learners to begin their educational career!

Thanks for joining in this journey of discovery and wonder in kindergarten! So many of my students were so surprised to find out that they could keep these books and bring them home to share with people at home! They love the ability to be the expert and have something important.

Thank you so much for caring about our little kindergarten community!”

  • The VIP Gets the Royal Treatment!

    Funded Mar 12, 2019

Thank you for providing my students with these materials to make them feel like a VIP! When a student becomes the star student for the week, they receive the VIP treatment. This allows them to be able to sit at their own table with a bunch of cool supplies. Thanks to you, they are able to have and use these supplies. It is amazing to see each student get excited to be the VIP for the week. Some students even ask constantly, "When will I be the VIP?" Their behavior is growing and they work really hard to receive this privilege. That is mostly due to the fact that they have fun supplies to use when they are there. Thank you for the help and support!”

  • Fidgety Fifths Looking for Flexible Seating

    Funded Apr 7, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom! We are so appreciative to have people like you supporting our students. You have helped us fund white board tables for our classroom so that we may implement flexible seating! My students are so excited to be able to be able to use these amazing tools within our room. When I told them that we were lucky enough to be able to get this project funded they were thrilled! You have provided so many opportunities for students who otherwise may not have been able to have them.”

  • Books for Boys!

    Funded Mar 1, 2019

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU so much for helping me bring more chapter books into my classroom. My student was so surprised and thankful for these books. As summer break was approaching, he was worried about having books to read this summer. I am so thankful that donors like you helped me to put these books in his hand. I know he will enjoy them for years to come. He loves to read and reread books. Having his own copy of the Wing of Fire series is just what he needs as he heads of to middle school.”

  • HEART!: Fully Forming My Professional Life as a Reading Teacher

    Funded Apr 17, 2019

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for helping give me the resources to work on myself professionally this summer in order to prepare for the upcoming school year and reignite my passion for literacy instruction. In recent years, school professional development in the US has focused on developing our understanding of ways to identify the deficits that students bring to school with them, but my philosophy of education requires me to first identify what strengths students have that I can build upon in order to help get them to their next step on the learning continuum.

This summer, I spent much needed time reading the professional development texts you helped provide, share my learning with students in our summer reading camp, and think about how I can use this acquired knowledge in my new position as Library Interventionist getting to work with every student in my school as their librarian, with our kindergarten and first grade enrichment students, and with our kindergarten ESL students.”

  • Traveling Back to the Middle Ages

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

My students and myself would like to thank each and every one of you for the kind and generous donation that you made to our classroom. We received 30 brand-new copies of The Time Travelers Guide to Medieval England!!! These books have already been such a great help when teaching students about this time period and also while trying to encourage historical literacy.

The Middle Ages is a challenging time period to teach and one that my students all-too often get lost in. These books have made such a difference. With various chapters on numerous different topics, it seems that my students have all found something that interests them about this time period. I never thought that could happen!!!

I can't wait to use these books with my students next year and continue literary instruction and activities that will help to make these students better readers for all subjects.”

  • I Have a Feeling...I Can Spell Sight Words

    Funded May 13, 2019

Well today was certainly fun! Our sight word games arrived and the kids begged to get them out and play with them. How could I say no to them wanting to play a learning game! They had so much fun and asked if they could get them out again before the end of the year...that happens to be in 3 days.

I can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity to my students and to my classroom. Thank you for helping me provide my students with fun, engaging learning games. Your kindness is what keeps my classroom running strong and filled with fun activities for my students.

We all hope you have a wonderful summer and that you will visit our project page again soon.”
