My Project

I teach an incredible group of creative, driven students who are passionate about photography and storytelling. They are eager to learn and constantly push themselves to capture the best possible images for our yearbook, school events, and media projects. However, they often struggle to take high-quality action shots, especially in sports and other fast-paced environments, due to limited equipment.

With the addition of a Canon RF telephoto lens, my students will be able to capture crisp, professional-quality photos from a distance, allowing them to document key moments—whether it's a game-winning shot on the basketball court, a dramatic theater performance, or a stunning nature photo.

This lens will enhance their technical skills, teach them about focal length and composition, and allow them to experiment with advanced photography techniques that would otherwise be out of reach.

My goal for this project is to give my students the tools they need to succeed and build confidence in their photography skills. Many of them are considering careers in media, journalism, or photography, and having access to high-quality equipment will provide real-world experience that prepares them for the future.

What makes my students special is their passion for learning, storytelling, and capturing the world around them. They take immense pride in their work, and with this lens, they will be able to elevate their photography and bring our school’s stories to life in a way that truly does them justice.
