Help me give my students scooters to help them engage in a movement activity and brain break activity during the school day in an exciting way!

My Project

Please help me with obtaining a set of classroom scooters for our elementary students along with a set of larger scooters for our middle school students to use when they are in need of a brain break during the school day. Scooters are a fun and exciting way to give students an outlet to engage in movement and physical activity during the school day.

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation shares, "All youth need 60 minutes of physical activity every day to grow up healthy."

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation also shares, "Research shows that active kids learn better so it’s essential to create a learning environment that encourages and supports movement before, during, and after school."

The scooters are also a way to help support mental health and provide students with an outlet if they feel dysregulated and need some time and space to regain focus during the school day.

Funding a set of scooters for students to use during the school day is a great way to help us incorporate movement inside our school building where there is not a lot of space available outside of our school building. This set of scooters can also be shared with our after school program for students to enjoy!
