My Project

My name is Joe Hays, I teach physical education at Hanna Public Schools. We are a rural K-12 district in Southeast Oklahoma. An important part of my job is to help students to be physically active and develop fundamental physical skills.

One of the foundations of physical education is the development of motor skills.

I want to introduce Zoom Sport to our kids and get them excited about developing these skills. Zoom Sport is a motor skills fundamentals based gamed designed to help students to progress in these skills. Zoom sport puts into action the skills that students learn in drills in a fun game scenario. Zoom Sport is designed to allow students with multiple skill levels to participate on a level playing field. This helps students to grow these skills along with their confidence. The combination of rapid skill growth and confidence building will make a difference in student learning by creating higher levels of engagement and participation in their physical education.

I want to introduce Zoom Sport to my students with the goal of having every student on or above level in their motor skill development. My kids are from a small and proud rural district and they enjoy getting to have new opportunities in their learning. Funding new opportunities can be a challenge, with your help we can make Zoom Sport a reality for the Hanna Drgons.
