Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from diverse (low and high) performing community, they strive to do much better than their numbers show. As their college and career adviser I am here to help increase the school's graduation rate and student's achievements. Our students have shown an incredible amount of potential and interest in the college process.

My students are appreciative of the opportunities presented.

Technology and college related materials is all around us and my goal is to provide access to my students.

My Project

We currently have to hold meeting with students and parents via zoom due to restrictions for in person meetings due to covid 19 restrictions and for the safety of staff, parents and students, The desktop that I currently have in my office does not have a camera or speaker sound so it's difficult for zoom meetings to occur. We are not able to hold in-person meetings but I will like for my students and parents to see me when we are meeting so it can feel like we are really meeting in person.
