My Students

My 3rd graders are a group of students who come to school eager to learn and curious to ask questions. This coming year my students will be exposed to technology so they too are on the path to being the 21st century learner.

It is imperative to mention that my students come from an under served area and all are eligible for free lunch, however, this label does not hinder their desire to learn and have equitable access to education just as any other student.

We are a school that believes in our students and strive to open as many doors of opportunity as we can for our students.

My Project

The headphones I have requested are essential to the learning that happens in our classroom. I am a 3rd Grade teacher hence my students are 8-9 years old. It is very important to have a good quality, comfortable set of headphones that will fit in their tiny ears and a pair that will deliver quality sound.

My students will use the headphones with their iPads.

They use the iPad to practice and reinforce concepts learned during direct teaching.

This is how a typical rotation rolls - Students explore a concept as whole class, concept is understood, students practice the concept learned as a partnership, and finally use an app to reinforce the concept. This is when the iPad is used but, the iPad is of no use without a set of excellent quality headphones that deliver an uninterrupted clear sound.

Thus, these headphones that I have chosen for my students are essential to their learning. Thanks!
