Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school students play instructional basketball after school 2-3 times per week.

Between the academic school day, practice after school, and games starting at 5 and 6 p.m., these students will be in the school building for 10-11 hours daily.

We need healthy snacks to make sure students can sustain the long hours of work and play as they learn the healthy habits it takes to be student-athletes. A variety of healthy snacks like goldfish, smart food, breakfast and granola bars, seeds, nuts, and other individually wrapped items will ensure students aren't hungry and have the energy they need.
