My Project

Bringing Calm and Focus to Our Classroom with Zen Materials

In my classroom, we strive to create a space where students feel safe, calm, and ready to learn.

To support this goal, I am requesting Zen-inspired materials that will help my students regulate their emotions, improve focus, and foster mindfulness. These materials may include items such as tabletop Zen gardens, calming scents, and calming décor.

Our students face many challenges, and these tools will give them opportunities to practice self-regulation, reduce stress, and find peace during their busy school days. By incorporating mindfulness practices into our routine, we can create an environment that promotes emotional well-being, focus, and a readiness to learn.
