My Project

Florida is the land of sunshine, rain, and MOSQUITOES! My students are getting ready to move through those obstacles to start learning their ABC's and 123's. Sometimes we leave the doors open to bring the fresh air while we are learning. Unfortunately, the daily rainstorms mean that there are plenty of places for mosquitos to breed and start looking for someone to bite.

Malaria is now spreading in the mosquito population of Florida and I would like to keep my students safe from their bites while they are learning at school.

These blue light mosquito traps will quietly attract the flying insects and trap them. The alphabet strips will promote learning and literacy.
