Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The most heart breaking sound as a teacher is to hear a student say, "I'm hungry." All of my students are on free lunch which tells me they are in need of nutrients. They come to school hungry, they are hungry mid-day and they are hungry at the end of the day. Sometimes a treat from a teacher is all they have. Please help me keep my cupboard stocked with necessary snacks for kids to have a their finger tips.

This will allow students to focus on learning and not rumbling tummies.
