Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love how resilient my students are. I work at a Title I, low socioeconomic school where the majority of my student are English language learners, and none of these characteristics have ever stopped my student from achieving their full potential.

My Project

The pandemic has affected our students both socially and emotionally. Our kids are missing the experience of playing with their friends at school causing many of them to feel lonely. As a result, their feelings are experiencing a change they have never felt before. It is an uncomfortable feeling they do not know how to deal with.

These materials will allow me to motivate my students by rewarding them with incentives and decorate in a more welcoming way making my classroom a place they enjoy and want to be a part of.
