This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am teaching my kindergarten students to use a mailbox system for their work in my classroom.

I am asking for a new mailbox system for students to be able to use to keep their folder and homework in!

My goal is that my kindergarten students learn to use a mailbox system so that they have prior knowledge on this when they go to first grade and above! I think kindergarten students are capable of being independent and responsible for their own work and belongings. With this mailbox I will be able to teach students these responsibilities.
