My Students

"Good hit!", "You got this!", These are the encouraging words you hear from these young baseball players at practice or at a game. Just watching these athletes practice hard and becoming a unit is awesome to witness. Our school serves students in pre-k through 12th grade. It provides a challenging curriculum with many extra curricular activities. Since this school is located near a military base, there are families that come from different cultures. Our team is mixed with athletes who are African American, Native American, and Hispanic. The league we are playing in is competitive and we will also play in tournaments. The Bulldog 10U baseball team consists of 12 boys that are in 3rd-5th grade.

"These boys eat, breathe, and live baseball!"

These 12 young boys work hard and whether they win or lose they want to learn from their mistakes and get better. They strive to be the best and just love the game of baseball!

My Project

These donations will provide our players with the essential tools to be successful. We are asking for a team bat so everyone will be able to use it. Also some training equipment such as a pitcher practice screen, insider bat trainer, exercise band, and a Fungo Bat will help improve agility, quickness to the ball, hand-eye coordination, pitching mechanics, and hitting mechanics. This baseball team keeps the kids in our community doing something positive and rewarding. These young athletes learn self discipline,how to work as a team, responsibility, and how to stay active and fit. Being part of a team and learning to trust each other, build confidence, and self esteem is so important. The game of baseball teaches so many positive life values. Some of these supplies will go to teammates that can not afford to buy the necessary baseball equipment.
