Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Just like anyone, you aren't yourself when you're hungry! Being hungry can effect your ability to complete tasks efficiently. Therefore, I created this project to ensure that no student is left hungry. It is very common that students in low income areas rely on eating at school to ensure that they are receiving meals because their parents might not afford it.

With the snacks donated, I will create a snack bin with basic snacks that students enjoy like chips, cookies, candy, fruit snacks, gold fish, etc.

Students who can't afford to bring a snack or miss breakfast or lunch will be provided a snack to help hold their hunger until they are able to eat a meal.
