My Students

I love my students for their level of curiosity and their willingness to engage in learning new things. Many of my students have expressed the interest in learning how to cook and bake.

During the Spring 2020 Quarantine, we started on a journey learning how to cook at home in an attempt to give the students a way to engage in a social activity while doing something fun at home.

Coming back in person for the 2021-2022 school year, students will be learning about nutrition, how to make healthy snacks, lunch and dinner.

My Project

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them the opportunity to learn the skills that are needed to make several different types of healthy meals. The cutting boards, kids safe knives and aprons are just some of the items that will help my students as they embark on the journey of learning how to cook.

Over the last year, I have seen how learning to cook positively benefited my students work and demeanor and hope that learning this important life skill will help them grow even more!
