Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Science is all around us! In elementary school, students in kindergarten to fifth grade will have the opportunity to learn, play, and grow within the STEM frameworks and curriculum. I want my students to cultivate their education through hands-on learning and activities that focus not just on the big ideas, but the simplicity in their day-to-day experiences. We are requesting Journals, Shipping Labels, Storage Tray Organizer Bins, Washable Markers and other supplies that they need as young scientists to discover and explore the world around them from the comfort of their very own classroom!

In order to be successful, organization is key!

Through this project being fully funded, roughly 500 students will be able to take ownership of their learning. It will support outdoor inquiry with plants and animals as well as indoor activities and investigations. All the supplies requested will be used to mold and create real-life models and diagrams to gain clearer connections in their learning.

My students are remarkable, educated, and inquisitive. The goals for this project is not only to thrust their learning within this century but also to deliver and showcase our true excellence. We are assessed statewide and it's time others see what they can truly do!
