Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my students develop the foundational skills they need to become fluent readers and writers. My students are English Language learners who will benefit from explicit teaching of phonics, and phonemic awareness. Reading decodable books enables students to practice the phonics patterns and codes and skills taught. These materials will be used during independent reading and literacy centers. Your donations will help my students practice reading books they can decode easily and develop the fluency they need to become readers. My students will become self reliant readers which is so important in beginner readers. Once that is in place they will move to read and enjoy rich literature books.
