This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to teach high school photography in Philadelphia, PA. Before becoming an educator, I worked as a professional photographer. I am passionate about providing my creative students with access to professional studio equipment so they can enhance their skills and create stunning portraits and still life photographs.

Photography provides all students an opportunity to express their unique creative voice.

I hope that this hands-on experience will inspire some of my students to pursue careers in the field of image making. I am constantly amazed by the incredible photographs my students produce, and I am excited to see what they will achieve as we upgrade our equipment!
