Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading is such an important part of our day in kindergarten. My students absolutely love listening to a great story and absorbing all of the information. They especially love when the book is relatable and something they can connect with on a personal level.

Our classroom library is one of the favorite spots where my students spend their time.

Inclusion and representation is SO important, and my classroom library is no exception. I have been growing my classroom library over the last 6 years making sure to have relevant and engaging books!

These books would be such a great addition to our library! Some are Caldecott winners and others showcase important people and cultures from around the world.
