Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our track team has started to compete in more competitive competitions. In these meets students are exposed to short and middle-distance running. However, this year we have been introduced to shot put.

I have strong students who are intrigued by this portion of track and field.

Please help me get shot put equipment so I can teach our students how to throw this heavy ball quite a distance. Having these tools during practice will get my students used to this discipline and will make them more confident when it is time for them to compete again.
