My Project

Participating in any sport has benefits, and our students know this through our existing basketball program. My goal is to introduce the unique benefits and learning experiences of volleyball. Our students will learn character-building skills such as leadership, respect, communication, and teamwork. Through the volleyball program, our students will learn they can and will succeed, but they will also experience struggle. The struggle will teach our students to learn problem-solving on their own, strategizing within for answers and fixes. With the unique benefits of volleyball, introducing this new sports program to our school will help ameliorate our students' academic performance, as well as their social-emotional health.

To introduce the volleyball program to our school and fulfill our students’ wishes, I desperately need the help of our supportive community.

I am asking for funding for volleyball equipment such as: four square nets, several volleyball nets, and other equipment. These materials will help our students with the foundational skills of volleyball such as serving, bumping, setting, and spiking.

On behalf of my students, I thank you in advance for your monetary donation. Our students will be fully prepared for practice with the equipment. The funding of these items will give a great first-time experience for most of our students, and skills and memories to last them a lifetime.
