My Project
This year, I would like to focus on the importance of attendance. Attendance matters and I want to reward the students that show up. So far this year this has worked. We have a daily attendance rate of 92.35%. Attending school has a huge impact on student success. Encouraging regular school attendance is one of the most powerful ways you can prepare students for success—both in school and in life. Students have a better chance of graduating when attendance is a priority. I would like to reward students who have achieved perfect attendance and improved attendance in each quarter.
The students will receive a slushy party.
We need slushy syrup. The students love the fruit punch and blue raspberry flavors. Of course, there is no party without cups and straws. The students will not only receive an incentive for attendance but also gain a culture for academic success.
