Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a continuation school, our students need a little more understanding and motivation, whether that be intrinsic or extrinsic. These gift cards have been great motivators for attendance, work submission, and engagement. As teachers, we also feel very satisfied that they will be able to get a treat that they might not be able to get very often due to their economic situations. My students particularly love Denny's and Starbucks and are often the first cards to be claimed after the completion of a course with a passing grade.
