Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is not easy to motivate my students to read aloud, especially when learning to read.

By using a reading buddy, such as a plush toy or puppet, my students will be more willing to read aloud.

I currently don't have any puppets for my students to use when they read. With this project, I want to give my students their puppet to take home and a plush toy to use in class to help them read out loud. I also would like a variety of stickers to give my students when they have improved in reading. I can also use the eyeball ring to have my students track while they read when they don't use the puppets. I can use the smelly markers to give them feed back after they read with me. We would greatly appreciate your support to help us get our reading buddies.
