Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items will support students in having access to necessary materials in their math class. Each student will be able to use calculators, rulers, and pencils without worrying about having to bring their own.

During class, students can use calculators for math involving complicated operations like square root, exponents, tangent, sine, and cosine.

Some students with disabilities need calculators so they have theirs but, I currently, do not have enough calculators for everyone in my class. Rulers are necessary for students to graph their functions. The jumbo pencils are used for students who need pencils but forget their own or are unable to purchase their own. Students can use headphones during their independent work time which includes videos to support their learning and online lesson practice so they can have multimedia support.

Please support me in giving students the necessary materials they need to succeed in their math class! The students and I would really appreciate it!
