My Project

I am a school social working and I work with students who reside in temporary housing. These Yoga Mats will allow me to teach Yoga to my students. This will support with their Social Emotional Learning by providence students with breathing techniques and SEL activities. Yoga helps them to deal with their stress and bring back some peace of mind. Those who regularly practice yoga not only report lower levels of stress and anxiety and subsequently improved academic performance. Additionally, Yoga can help students concentrate in and outside of the classroom.
