it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Yoga mats are essential for creating a comfortable and safe environment for students to engage in mindfulness and movement activities. Our special education class benefits greatly from structured physical activities that support sensory regulation, focus, and well-being. However, we currently lack the necessary equipment to provide these opportunities effectively.
By donating yoga mats, you will help our students develop essential self-regulation skills through yoga and stretching exercises.
These activities enhance their ability to concentrate, reduce stress, and build physical coordination. Access to these mats will allow us to integrate mindfulness practices into our daily routine, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
