This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is kicking off a yoga program as part of our physical education curriculum for our high school students. We believe that yoga has many positive benefits for developing adolescents - both mentally and physically.

This project will provide students their own gym bags and yoga towels that they will utilize everyday during our classes.

These materials will be beneficial for mindfulness, comfort, and more importantly good hygiene as they practice yoga.

All of these are age-appropriate for our high school students. The materials in this project will foster a sense belonging and responsibility.
