Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is kicking off a yoga program as part of our physical education curriculum for our middle school students. We believe that yoga has many positive benefits for developing adolescents - both mentally and physically.

The various yoga materials like the extra large mat and knee pads will help students to support their practice to the next level.

The journal notebooks and balancing games will help their practice in a more meaningful way by making it more fun and intentional.

All of these are age-appropriate for our middle school students. The materials in this project will foster playfulness, self-awareness, collaboration, and positive coping skills through yoga and meditation.
