Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are loving, curious, and enthusiastic learners. After a year of remote learning, they are in class, face to face, for the first time. They are motivated to interact, explore, and learn with one another. They are also ready to explore and nurture their body and mind to remain healthy and stress free.

Our class enjoys practicing Yoga and meditation to guide us with efficient ways to manage our minds and body.

Our class would benefit greatly if we had individual mats that would make our sessions comfortable and successful.

My Project

Yoga mats will allow students to practice yoga and meditation comfortably. Meditation and yoga techniques help students focus so they can better concentrate on their studies. Yoga provides mindful movement to help them practice technique that will help students relax and concentrate. These skills will transfer over into their academic performance. It also develops students strength and flexibility to keep them strong and healthy all year long. Meditation will help students cope with their emotions of frustration and fear. It helps balance emotional development and gives rest to the mind.
