Yeti Golf Squad Teeing Off – Bringing Golf to Equipo!
Help me give my students the chance to learn golf by providing clubs, balls, and training gear for our new Yeti Golf Squad. Your support makes this sport accessible to all!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students the chance to learn and enjoy golf through our new high school extracurricular club, Yeti Golf Squad! Many of my students have never had access to golf due to the high cost of equipment and course fees. By providing clubs, balls, training aids, and essential gear, we can introduce them to this incredible sport and teach valuable life skills like patience, discipline, and teamwork.
Each item we’re requesting will make a direct impact—clubs will allow students to practice their swings, balls, and tees will provide the foundation for learning, and training aids will help develop skills both on and off the course.
My goal is to create an inclusive, welcoming space where students of all backgrounds can learn, compete, and grow through golf. These students are eager to try something new, challenge themselves, and build confidence in a sport they may have never had the chance to experience. Your support will help them take their first steps onto the green and into a lifelong passion!
