Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need to explore what is happening around the world. Students love to read and combining current events with a reading magazine would make all the difference to them. Scholastic Scope is a magazine that incorporates current events, past history articles, and persuasive arguments that will be utilized in our classroom setting.

Using this magazine will connect our social studies curriculum to Language Arts.

This will encompass writing prompts that can be used in both subject areas. The magazine as a whole is colorful, current, and holds valuable and entertaining articles, research, and opinions from students all over the nation. Students will use the articles to complete research papers, support their argumentative writing, and provide facts for their informative papers. I am thrilled to bring these reading items to the classroom with your generosity and devotion to the learning of my students.
