Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

To be able to use tablets daily in the classroom would be a dream come true. I am amazed at what students and teachers can achieve with our VERY limited resources. So I am very excited to watch what can be achieved with the use of tablets in our classroom. The possibilities are endless!

Our school is in a low income community and the resources are limited.

My classroom has very old computers that are always breaking down. The software is out-of-date and students cannot access most interactive websites. Nevertheless, my students are so grateful for any computer time they get. They are very patient and appreciative.

My Project

Despite the many setbacks, our students have shown so much progress over the past few years. With the hard work of teachers, administrators, and support staff, our CST scores have increased significantly. I believe in our students. That is why I am asking for an Acer Tablet. I know student learning will soar with the use of up-to-date technology that will meet ALL individual needs.

I also believe in our teachers, parents, and community.

We have shown that we can achieve. We can achieve despite many setbacks. But with the proper resources, like tablets, I am confident that our students can SOAR!
