Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With this project, my students will be given the opportunity to indulge in a variety of books that support the fact that ALL students are important. My Latino students will be able to connect and reflect on the books in our library and feel their culture and heritage in our classroom.

My students are special because they carry with them their culture.

A culture that needs to be valued and appreciated in our classroom. With this project, students will gain a better understanding of their own culture and those of others. Through these resources, they will know that yes, they are important, todos somos importante!
